Fall Time At The Delta Gamma House

(Our Delta Gamma girls who ran in the NICK BELL 3.6 Mile Run!)

It has certainly been an eventful Fall this year. We’ve had so much going on and this year is slowly but surely coming to an end. Recently on the Delta Gamma activities list we’ve had… Anchor Ball (November 4th) & MSU Homecoming (November 5th). If anyone knows the Delta Gamma’s this is one of the busiest times of the year. We all love anchor ball and we all especially love homecoming. Here are some pictures from first Anchor Ball, but then also Homecoming where Delta Gamma had FRESHMAN, SOPHOMORE, JUNIOR, & SENIOR MAIDS and also the biggest of them all MISSISSIPPI STATE HOMECOMING QUEEN!

Well that is all from the Delta Gamma house at this moment!! Hope you all will come back and see more updates soon!!

Fall Time Has Arrived.

Recently at the Delta Lambda house, we’ve been extremely busy…

Our very own Vic Stein recently tried out for Lab Rats, a comedy group on Mississippi State’s campus and was chosen to become a new member. Congrats Vic!!

Another one of our lovely Delta Lambda ladies Margaret Bernheim was also given the privilege to join Music Makers, which is an organization that supports and promotes music artists that are coming through the Starkville area. Congrats Margaret!

In the past few weeks Delta Lambda has been participating in many of the other Greek Fraternity and Sorority organizations philanthropy events.

For Lambda Chi, Delta Gamma  participated in Watermelon Fest benefiting the North American Food Drive. Delta Gamma as a chapter raised the most cans that Lambda Chi has ever seen, with a whopping 20,000 pounds worth. Delta Gamma was privileged to come in 2nd place overall, while picking up the best privilege of all… WATERMELON FEST QUEEN 2011! Congrats to Callie Paxton!

Last week, Delta Lambda participated in Chi Omega’s wish week benefiting Make- A- Wish. Delta Gamma prepared the whole week for their finale called Lime Light. Delta Gamma, won CROWD FAVORITE, for the second time in a row. CONGRATULATIONS to Delta Gamma, but also the ladies that put so many hours of dancing and singing in for the Lime Light show.

Though Delta Lambda has been extremely busy with Philanthropy events and getting involved on campus, they haven’t had a shortage of having fun with their social activities. Delta Gamma last week had a “Bling Bling Fling” Swap with Sigma Chi, Phi Delta Theta, and Kappa Delta.

Moving into this week, Delta Lambda is preparing to campaign for our Beautiful Delta Gamma’s that are running for Homecoming court 2011.

We hope you all are having a wonderful beginning to your week! Check back soon for updates on our chapter!

First Home Game & DG Date Party

Delta Gamma this past week had a crazy schedule, from everyone having tests, social events, cowbell yell, the first home game of the season, to our very first date party, Delta Gamma’s were everywhere.  All of these schedules though did not interfere with Delta Gamma’s getting involved on campus.

Always trying to active our members have been striving for participation on MSU’s campus since this new school year has arrived.

Theses young ladies I’m about to name have recently joined some of MSU’s top and prestigious organizations.

Life as a Delta G.

Recently at the Delta Gamma house…

During recruitment 2011, Delta Gamma was surprised to find out about their soon partnership with Tom’s shoes new industry of Tom’s Sunglasses.  The whole Delta Lambda chapter was filled with screams as soon as the partnership was revealed. To begin their partnership, the Delta Lambda chapter of Delta Gamma, bought over 200 Tom’s Sunglasses to distribute throughout the Delta Lambda chapter. Delta Lambda is extremely excited about their partnership and cannot wait to see what the future holds with Tom’s Sunglasses.

As Delta Gamma progressed past their amazing recruitment week of 2011, Delta Gamma officially began their school term, with their first formal chapter.  The best thing about chapter was seeing all the new baby anchors as they filed into the chapter room.

Heading into this next week Delta Gamma will be kicking off their first social function of the year, a Graffiti super swap, involving Kappa Alpha, Sigma Chi, and Chi Omega.  (Pictures to come!)

This should be a great year for Delta Gamma. Cannot wait to see what the rest of 2011-2012 holds in store!

GO BULLDOGS!

Happy Sunday everyone. Hope you have a blessed week!
